Bangladesh Through Our Eyes” held at the Turkish Ambassador’s residence

The gala reception of the photography exhibition, “Bangladesh Through Our Eyes” held at the Turkish Ambassador’s residence on the 12th of April.

Mr. Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali, Hon’ble Foreign Minister of Bangladesh inaugurated the exhibition as the Chief Guest. Mr. Hüseyin Müftüoğlu, Ambassador of Turkey delivered welcome speech while Mr. Shahidul Alam, Managing Director of Drik announced the award winners’ names. A big crowd of the members of diplomatic community were present.

For the last two months, Drik and Embassy of the Republic of Turkey have been instrumental in creating this exhibition. The exhibition contains photographs taken by the members of the diplomatic community in Bangladesh which depicts various aspects of life in Bangladesh. 39 Embassies/Missions have contributed to the exhibition with 63 photographs.

The exhibition was open for all at Drik Gallery during 14-23 April 2015. This exhibition was meant to be a new year’s gift from the diplomatic community to the people of Bangladesh.
