Research & Public Campaign
Drik’s research cell is framed by its overarching ideals of social equality and justice. Led by a senior anthropologist, the team conducts research aided by recent theorisation in media and cultural studies. Media stereotyping, the newly defined relationship between media and the government in the context of economic liberalisation and civilian rule form some of the areas of critical investigation. Besides analytically framed research, the cell also takes on social activist research such as creating knowledge and information commons.
