Team Leader - Drik Picture Agency
An experienced and dynamic person who can lead and supervise a picture agency team with extensive knowledge in image editing and processing, quality control, marketing & communications, local and international sales.  Previous experience in image banks and indepth knowledge of the photographic industry worldwide is a pre-requisite.  An excellent communication skill in English is imperative.

Masters/Bachelor degree in relevant field will be required

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title     :         Team Leader – Drik Picture Agency (DPA)
Reports to :         Managing Director / General Manager / Admin & Finance Manager / HR Manager

Key Functions

The team leader of DPA has to show an understanding of the ethical and editorial policy of Drik, and to be aware of the politics of visual representation, with knowledge of the global media industry.

1) Management of DPA Operations
- Overseeing of day-to-day operations
- Conducting sales transactions

2) Marketing of DPA
- Overseeing of marketing plans
- Generating regular external communications material to clients

3) Photographer Liaisons
- Searching and signing up new photographers
- Dissemination of quarterly commission report to photographers
- Coordinating and liaising for new work, assignments
- Communicating image requests/needs

4) Picture Editing
- Collection quality control (existing collection)
- Selection of images (New digital and from analog collection)
- Ensuring editorial integrity and outlook of entire collection (ongoing)

5) HR of department
- Annual staff evaluation
- Ensuring quality of work and performance of staff
- Looking for capacity building/training opportunities

6) MajorityWorld.com (MW) Liaisons
- Representing MW Southern sales office
- Introducing new photographers
- Technical support

7) Accounts & Admin
- Quarterly commission report
- Monthly Report
