Job Title: Finance & Admin Manager

Reports to: Managing Director/General Manager

Job Description / Key Responsibility

  • Assist in the overall finance management of Drik Picture Library Ltd. and its educational wing, Pathshala South Asian Media Academy, to ensure smooth operations, profit and goodwill to the organization.
  • Preparation of Annual Budgets, Monthly Financial Reports and Reviews.
  • Variance Analysis and Account Reconciliation.
  • Fund Management.
  • Asset Management.
  • Taxes, Audit Support
  • Company Matters and administrative support to the organization.

Educational Requirements

  • CA/Masters in Finance/Accounting

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience in private sector/business house/media agencies

Additional Job Requirements

  • Should have the natural flare for cultivating excellent relationships with customers, vendors, superiors, colleagues and subordinates.
  • Should have the ability to develop ideas and strategies.
  • Ability to operate independently is essential.
  • Knowledge of print and electronic productions will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to make strategic decisions and problem solving,
  • Strong communication, report writing and presentation skills both in English and Bengali.
  • Strong knowledge of Information Technology, MIS, Company laws,

Job Title: Human Resource Manager

Reports to: Managing Director/Principal/General Manager

Job Description / Responsibility

This position is responsible for implementing Human Resources practices that will provide a high performance work environment for ongoing development of a superior workforce for Drik and its initiative Pathshala South Asian Media Academy.

The company emphasizes the need for employee empowerment, goal attainment, the recruitment and induction of quality staff, key employee retention and development for maintaining a high performance creative socially responsible culture that is a hallmark of the organization.

The functions include:

  • advising Drik’ and Pathshala’s management on recruitment and induction,
  • compensation and benefits administration,
  • training and development,
  • administration of Drik’s HR and Admin policy,
  • personnel record-keeping and performance evaluation,
  • ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations, and
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Experience, Education Requirements

  • Graduation in any discipline with diploma or higher education in HR Management
  • At least five years of professional experience across all HR disciplines
  • Excellent command of communication skills in the English language

Job Title: Marketing Manager

Reports to: Managing Director/General Manager

Job Description / Responsibility

This position is responsible for:

  • developing and implementing comprehensive (short, medium and long term) marketing strategies, plans and policies and thus be able to achieve the sales and marketing objectives of the Company.
  • monitoring the execution of marketing strategies, plans and policies;
  • carrying out competitive sales study, market survey and analyze business activities of competitors in the market;
  • managing potential partner relationships, coordination and communication with vendors, agencies;
  • developing new clients and maintaining good relationship with existing clients, building and strengthening relationships and continuing proactively to engage with clients;
  • market visits, client hunts, creating market opportunities;
  • co-ordinating and managing all marketing productions and related activities;.
  • building strong communications with all relevant departments and providing support to them with the marketing materials.

In addition he/she should be able to:

  • work under pressure in a team with responsibility.
  • work independently and effectively in complex situations.
  • perform other tasks when required.

Educational Requirements
Masters/MBA (Major in Marketing from any reputed university).

Experience Requirements

  • 5 to 8 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
    Marketing and Sales, market survey, brand communication etc.
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Corporate/Media Agencies.

Additional Job Requirements

  • Should have the ability to develop ideas and strategies.
  • Must be target oriented, able to fulfill responsibilities and be result oriented.
  • Knowledge of print production, audio visual and photography etc.
  • Knowledge of marketing communications, media and PR
