I am Shetu and I was born on 1st October 1986. I enjoy photography and listening to music. I want to study further, and receive higher education. In our society, there is much injustice and pain that people often do not want to express. I want to expose their stories with my pictures. Currently, . In my photography, I I am working at AV section of SARPV-Bangladesh as a photographer and videographerwant to protest injustice in society and communicate ideas which are new to people.

When I come back to home at late night from work, my mother and older brother get angry. This is only because our neighbours keep asking them, 'Why does she come home so late?' Through my work, I want people to question these norms that society gives such importance to.

In, 1994 a boy named Ruhul Amin lived in our neighbourhood. We used to study in the same school. When I was selected as one of the Out of Focus group and received a camera, Ruhul Amin started to spread a rumor among the neighbours that a person is giving cameras to children whose hometown is Barisal. 'Shefali comes from Comilla, but she lied, and that is how she got a camera,' Ruhul Amin said to everyone. At that time, I used to cry whenever I heard this, but now when I remember the story, it makes me laugh.
