I was born on 25th November 1985, and I became a member of Out of Focus from the beginning in 1994. There are lots of reasons why I work. I have to come up with my education expenses, and also contribute to my family. I want to do something against injustice in our society.

I am working at Drik audio visual section and do photography. Before I was child repoter in 'Muktokhobor 2001-2002' of ETV as a junior television journalist. I am now studing Honurs at 'Political Science'. I also do English classes, photography and video classes. I enjoy photography, music.

As a photographer, I must go to many different places, and people tend to remind me that I am girl not from a well-off family. Boys try to throw their weight around because I am a girl. Sometimes my family also protests, and work hampers my studies.

Before I rode on a plane, I always thought it would be like a mansion, complete with garden and swimming pool. When I lined up for my first plane journey, we went though a tunnel, and came upon rows of seats, just like in a long-distance bus. This was the sky highway. When it took off, the noise locked up my ears, and I thought, 'So this is a plane!'
