| A traditional fishing gathering held
annually in my village of Kangaba, 96km
from the capital city of Bamako in
southern Mali. Held between May to
June, it is a meeting of all Mandé natives,
gathering together eight different
backwaters such as Djolen, Kankan,
Nounkoun, Kaleba, Fignèkourou and
Kankansora. |
