November 2000 "The people of this land, we have something to tell you and that is, those who made us prostitutes, they are the very ones who evicted us [from the brothels]." - Hajera, Durjoy Nari Shongho .   After the brothel evictions on the 24th July '99, women were put into vagrant homes. Two women inside one such home climb a tree in an attempt to talk to journalists waiting outside. 28th July '99
